Welcome to Karangi Christmas Trees!
We are a family-owned and run business based in Karangi, just 10 minutes’ drive from Coffs Harbour town centre. We specialise in growing beautiful living, potted Christmas trees that can be enjoyed year after year, while also offering a selection of freshly cut Christmas trees for those who love the traditional Christmas experience.
We started Karangi Christmas Trees in June 2026, with a vision to grow our own potted Christmas trees right here in Karangi. Since then, we’ve been carefully nurturing our trees from tiny seedlings, watching them develop into beautiful, bushy Christmas trees. We’re so excited to share them with you for their first Christmas!
A sustainable and long-lasting choice, our potted trees are perfect for those who love to decorate early and enjoy a fresh, lush tree throughout Christmas, New Year and beyond. With the right care, they can be grown on for future Christmases, allowing you to bring the same tree back into your home year after year, or plant it in your garden where it can continue to grow.
As our potted trees are still relatively young, they will be available in a range of smaller sizes, from beautifully shaped compact trees through to trees around 4ft tall, making them a great option for homes and spaces where a more modest sized Christmas tree is ideal.
But don’t worry, we’ll also be reserving a selection of our trees to continue growing on for another year, giving them time to develop into larger, fuller trees for Christmas 2027 and beyond. So if you’re dreaming of a bigger potted tree, keep an eye out as our trees continue to grow!
For those wanting a larger tree this Christmas, we’ll also be offering our fresh-cut Christmas trees, sourced from our friends in the Blue Mountains. Full of festive fragrance and natural charm, these trees are available in two beautiful varieties - Radiata Pine and Douglas Fir - and a range of sizes from 5–8ft.
Whether you choose a living potted tree to enjoy for years to come or a beautiful fresh-cut tree this Christmas, we’d love to help make your festive season truly magical!
A Living Christmas Tree:
A Sustainable Choice for Christmas and Beyond
Our potted Christmas trees offer a beautiful, sustainable alternative to a traditional fresh cut Christmas tree.
Sold as living trees in their pots, they will stay fresh and lush throughout the festive season, perfect for those who like to decorate early! Then with the right care they can be grown on for future Christmases allowing you to bring the same tree back into your home year after year. Or if you prefer, plant it in your garden where it can continue to grow and become a lasting part of your outdoor space.
With a potted Christmas tree there is no need for a separate tree stand or complicated setup - simply place your tree in its chosen spot, decorate and enjoy! Being living trees they also retain their needles exceptionally well, meaning far less needle drop and considerably less mess throughout the festive season.
Our potted Christmas trees are Radiata Pines, a classic Australian Christmas tree variety known for their full, lush foliage. We offer our customers the opportunity to select your own tree from the range available, choosing the size and shape that best suits your home.
Choosing a potted tree means you can enjoy the same living Christmas tree for many years, rather than buying and disposing of a new cut tree every Christmas. Less waste, less mess and a Christmas tree that keeps on growing - making it a wonderful choice for your home and a more sustainable choice for the future.
Fresh Cut Christmas Trees
Our fresh-cut Christmas trees are sourced from our trusted friends in the Blue Mountains, where they are carefully grown and selected for the Christmas season.
For those who love the tradition of a classic fresh-cut Christmas tree, we offer two beautiful varieties: Radiata Pine, with its full, traditional Australian Christmas tree appearance, and Douglas Fir, known for its elegant shape, soft foliage and beautiful deep green colour.
Trees are available in a range of sizes from 5ft to 8ft, making it easy to find the right tree for your home and space.
These trees are cut fresh and delivered to our farm the following day, so they are ready for you to take home and enjoy. Each tree comes pre-cut and securely wrapped in netting, making it easy to transport and set up at home.
To ensure the trees are as fresh as possible, we don't pre-select individual trees for each order. Instead, when you choose your preferred variety and size, the next available tree in that category will be supplied. This allows us to keep the trees moving from the grower to our farm and then into your home as quickly as possible.
Fresh-cut trees remain a much-loved Christmas tradition, bringing the natural fragrance, character and beauty of a real Christmas tree into your home.
